My boyfriend (yay) bought me the box set of Sex and The City....
Each episode. Each series. I think I have died and gone to heaven. And it comes in a very pretty box.
I just finished a really really excellent book
"A wild sheeps chase", very easy to read but enthralling. I could'nt put it down. It's totally random,the plot is crazy but it's fun.
In other news I am studying very hard in college. Well after 5 years in a 3 year course, I have no choice!!!!!

OH YEA AND I'M GOING TO AMERICA ON SUNDAY, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I'VE NEVER BEEN TO AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to see this guy last night...................

Michael Winslow was funny and stuff but I'm not sure if he quite got Irish humour. He is, however,a very talented man. His sound effects blew me away actually. As per usual, some tool made a fool out of himself, squaring up the man, asking him "woz he Eddie Muuufffey or sometin'???" Cringe.

Went to see Chemical Brothers in London at weekend, all I'll say is WOW.

Amazing show, amazingl lights, amazing music.
However, buying three little bottles of wine and popping them into a pint glass is a recipe for disaster. I lost my dignity (if I ever had any) when I slipped down the stairs to the toilet in front of about 100 women,so embarrassing. But it wasn't just a drunken mistake, I've been known to fall anywhere and everywhere, sober or drunk. Most recently I fell at work yesterday. When the reception was full of stangers, why do bad things happen to good people?!!

I basically fell in love with London, such a relaxed vibe, I got the impression that you could walk down the street with a badger tied around your waist and no one would bat an eyelid.

Was shagged all week though,still not the better of it.

I am dying. No I actually think I am. I have that "bird shit in mouth" feeling, that familiar headache, the constant threat of projectile vomit....

It's a wine hangover. Well wine and cider hangover. What started as a very civilised affair with a few friends, sitting around talking about savings accounts (It's true) over a few glasses of wine descended into 9.55pm hit and run to the off license to buy, get this,3 bottles of wine!!!!!

It turned into one of those nights out.

In other news, my friend Ash passed her driving test, good on ya Sinco!!

I'm studying for repeats, why do I always have repeats??? Actually don't answer that.
I feel very stresssed, currently looking for a new house, trying to study and organise Prom Night... I've got a knot in my tum-tums. But in fairness, I'm pretty happy with how things are going with Prom Night, I've had so much support from everyone. Got my itinerary (Is that how I spell it??!) for my trip to the Grand Canyon and it just sounds so EXITING!!!

I've never been to America so I will be like a culchie in Dublin on December the 8th!!

In other news, I kind of dyed my hair blonde last night. When I texted my friend Ash to tell her, she just wrote back ; "Oh Jesus Christ, why didn't you wait for me to do it?!". I probably should have because instead of doing highlights I just kinda smeared the stuff all over my head but to be honest I don't think it looks too bad...

Last night I went to see Michael Buble with my Mam. I was expecting a "swaying" Mammy fest full of oul wan's going "Oh Michael, isn't he lovely..."

Instead I was pleasantly surpised, the man has a personality, he was hilarious!!! His personality really made the show and also he is frickin' HOTTTTTT!!

I hear he is recently single and I have no doubt he cleans up...his charm had me weak at the knees last night!!!

So this ad came on tele recently for Halle and Oates and their greatest hits and I can honestly say that I had never EVER heard of the men in my life but I know like all of their hits. Hall and Oates are legends!!! That's them above, cheesy looking bastards but responsible for most of the cheesiest, most excellent songs of the 80's! Anyone ever been to Club Nassau, the 80'S club? Their setlist is like a salute to these lads!! That night club is amazing, so ridulously camp and very sweaty but a good night guaranteed! Ray Foley was recently speaking about having a "Shite Night" kind of nightclub tour, it would be a little slice of heaven, rubbish music (that everyone loves even though they pull faces when it comes on). I fuckin' love crap music. But I like music too.......Okay.

Saturday morning. I feel a little hungover. Ok a lot hungover. Because we had one of those random night outs where I went straight out after work, didn't change my clothes or even attempt to fix my make up and looked like a dog but so much fun. I danced a lot, drank a little more and DEVOURED garlic cheese chips. I also think I offended a taxi man but he was really mean so I think he deserved it.

I also picked up a childs cardigan from the side of the road and wore it home. We don't really know why. But by looking at it this morning, I'm pretty sure I could have contracted some kind of disease for wearing it!

Having a lazy day, it's fantastic. Listening to some music, I can't get enough of Those Dancing Days, my friend Amy introduced them to me and I am smitten. I love when you get excited by music.

We're going out again tonight, I really shouldn't but.........

In other news, trying to organise a charity night for our trip to the Grand Canyon. Myself and friend Ash are doing a sponsered walk to the Grand Canyon for Breast Cancer Research. Check this out, I made it myself!!!!

Well I've been getting stick for not updating enough (Yes Ronan that is you, why the hell are you so worried anyway??!!) For the record, my housemate Ronan is blogger extroadinare!!! Check out his excellent blog "Swear I'm not Paul".

I suppose I am a bit lazy when it comes to this, mainly because I'm never sure what to say. Like I don't want to sound like a knob....Dear Diary, blah blah blah.

Hmmm, well today was a good day, it was warm but not too warm. I was home with my parents last night, we hung out, we had fun. It was nice. Back to my hovel tonight though. Just to clarify, the house I live in is amazing, not like the student accomodation I grew used to during my college days. However my own room is a bloody disgrace. I can barely get in the door, I am what you could call a hoarder...the er on the end is very important!!! I keep probably every piece of paper I have ever got, I keep clothes just in case, you know, just in case I need to paint, or go jogging (When do I ever jog??!!), in case I need old clothes or in case I fit into them one day.

I hold onto keepsakes and junk for nostalgic reasons, I have this awful fear of forgettting thingsa when I'm older so I reckon if I keep everything from my younger years I can reminise in years.......

But the thing is I am not organised. In fact I am probably the most scatterbrained person going. My friends laugh at me, they have labelled my room as a wildlife preserve, but I am indignant to say that it is not unhygenic untidy, I do not encourage rodents!! They have a graded system to label my room, stages 1-5. It is currently a stage 6......

Yea. So tonight I pledge to clean it.

This was quite therapeutic actually.

Friday night : Celine Dion, legend among women....we sang our lungs out that night.

Saturday: Participated in unisex activities with my unisex group.

Sunday: WESTLIFE!!!!!! I had to bring my little sister along.........;) That's the ONLY reason I went. Promise!

Monday: Sex and The City, I cried over 6 times. Much to the delight of Amy and Laura who laughed at me all night.

It was a weekend of cheese but by gum was it good!!!

I am the one in the middle in the brown skirt. That was us in Prague, April 2007. Great holiday. Lots of beer fun. And the other ones in the photo are my best friends, well there are a few more of them but I'll introduce you to them later....

Things I like to do:
1)Listen to radio. Massive fan of radio, kind of obsessed with it.
2)Drink weird alcoholic mixtures loosely known as cocktails.
3)Dance like a lunatic. Not a great dancer but love to do it.
4)Hang out with my amazing friends. Weirdest bunch of people ever. But better that we're all together rather than spread amongst the normal people.
